What size fish tank air pump do I need?

Author: I have a 10 gallon Fish tank with an underground filtration system and a water filter. What size air pump do I need? I have an air rock but I don’t see any bubbles coming out of the tubes – does that mean I need a bigger pump? Help I’ve never had fish before!
I would recommend a Tetra Whisper 10 Air Pump or Tetra Whisper 20 Air Pump. This is the best suited air pump to use for aquariums that are 10- and 20-gallons tanks. They have only one outlet that allows the air to travel from the air pump to the airstone. Don’t forget to get an air control device so that you can control the amount of air being sent to your aquarium as well.

Maybe your air rock is blocked. I’d recommend the tetratec 100 or 200 if you have to buy a new pump. I use the largest from their range and its top notch

I’ve found that those air rocks don’t work…my current air pump is Top Fin® Round Airstones and it’s the only one I’ve found that works well and lasts long. It doesn’t cost that much, either. Good luck(:
