Pumps

I impulse bought an R2D2 fish tank today from Petco. It was on clearance and I can tell it was used so I decided to buy it after asking the people at the store if there was anything really wrong with it, they said there weren’t any major problems with it and if it did I could always return it. I took it home and tried it out and I noticed the pump was pretty loud. Can it be replaced with just any pump?

If it is just a airpump then yes it can easily be replaced my buying a pump and hooking it up to your hose. If you want to change the whole filtration system entirely there are DIY’s out there which are detailed and work just as good nor are they hard to make.
