What is the power consume of 1 hp jet as well as 1 hp submersible pump set?

I am using 1 hp jet pump with capasity of 36 m delivery with 1200 lph. I have a 1000 ltr tank. How much the power will drawn to fill the water in to the 1000 ltr tank in unit. At the same time i have 1 hp submersible with same 36m delivery with 4800 lph. How much power drawn the submersible pump with unit to fill the 1000 ltr tank?

One horsepower is 750 Watts,
but your motor will waste some, so expect it will take more
in to get 1hp out.

NEC Art. 430 tables give various amps for various voltages
(Example 3.2A at 230V for 1hp 2-phase induction motor)

If your pumps are rated for a 36 meter *head*, and your tank is not so far above the water source, your pump is likely to use that much less power. Roughly, 18m; 400W; etc.

Power will be pressure (head of liquid) x quantity (Liters per hour). Convert to Joules/s to get Watts, and multiply by 1.5 to allow for motor inefficiency.

Any Suggestion for aHigh Efficiency Submersible Pond Pump?
